Cheesy Lasagna Sliders is a fun recipe that combines two favorites, sliders on King's Hawaiian buns and lasagna for an appetizer or dinner!
Set a skillet over medium heat and add the Italian sausage. Cook 5 to 7 minutes, breaking the sausage apart as you cook it. Drain any excess grease.
Slice the rolls in half with a serrated bread knife, separating the top and bottom buns. Place the bottom bun on a baking sheet.
Spread the ricotta cheese on the bottom bun (this works best if the ricotta is at room temperature). Add the cooked sausage, spoon the marinara sauce over the sausage, season with kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, and sprinkle the cheese over top.
Add the top bun. Mix the melted butter with a little more garlic powder and Italian seasoning and brush this over the top bun.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 13 to 15 minutes. Slice and serve right away.
