Air Fryer Italian Hoagies
This super easy recipe for Air Fryer Italian Hoagies is one of my favorite copycat comfort food recipes.
Our local pizza place has the BEST Italian subs that are toasted ever so perfectly.
It dawned on me that it would be a bit more budget friendly if I could make these fabulous melty hoagies/ heros/ grinder sandwiches… whatever ya call them… in my air fryer.
Ohhhh Maaaa Gooooooodness they were seriously even better at home 🙂

How to make Air Fryer Italian Hoagies
This is a recipe for two, but you can of course double it.
So first I put some sliced ham and salami on the bottom part of two store bought hoagy buns.
You can mix things up with different cuts of meat from the deli if you’d like.

Then I added two slices of provolone cheese to each and put them in my air fryer basket.
Set the air fryer to 380 degrees for about 3 to 4 minutes just like this for phase one of cooking.

Next sprinkle some Italian seasoning over the melty cheese.

Ahhh, like just how good they look so far and we aren’t even finished yet 🙂

Add some lettuce and pickle, or whatever other toppings you prefer.
Then put mayo on the top bun, add the top bun to the hoagies, and set the air fryer to 380 degrees for another 3 to 4 minutes.

Air Fryer Italian Hoagies look just like something you’d get in an Italian deli or pizza place 🙂

Such a fun dinner to make at home 🙂
