Plus it’s elegant and has a slight fancy-schmancy vibe going on 😉
And if you don’t like goat cheese, simply use cream cheese instead.
How to make Cherry Goat Cheese Crostini
First slice a French baguette into about 18 slices, depending on the size you may get a few more or a few less.
Place them on a tray and brush the tops with olive oil.
Then season with kosher salt and pepper.
Bake the bread in a 400 degree oven for just about 5 minutes.
Spread some goat cheese (or cream cheese) on each bread slice.
This works best if the cheese is at room temperature.
Finally a spoonful of cherry preserves and some fresh thyme over top.
See?! Soooooo simple!
Cherry Goat Cheese Crostini is sure to be a hit at any holiday or celebration!
It’s also a great addition to a charcuterie board.
I like to serve it on a pretty plate with some fresh thyme for garnish.
