Air Fryer Crispy Sriracha Chicken

Air Fryer Crispy Sriracha Chicken

Crunchy and golden brown with a little cheesy goodness, TONS of flavor, and we’ll call it healthy-ish… today’s recipe is air fryer crispy sriracha chicken!

There are about a million different ways to flavor chicken and I have cooked my fair share of chicken in my day.

But I do have to say this one is something EXTRA special.

We had ours with some broccoli for a complete meal.

And the dream bite included some oven baked broccoli with the moist and juicy chicken along with the creamy, cheesy, crunchy topping.

Seems weird to say that a dream bite included broccoli but it just worked beautifully together.

How to make air fryer crispy sriracha chicken

A couple of tricks here to make this super good and super easy.

I have the whipped cream cheese, which is easier to spread compared to traditional cream cheese.

And in order for this to to cook perfectly I recommend using thin cut chicken breasts.

Air fryer chicken ingredients

Start by seasoning both sides of the chicken with kosher salt, pepper, and dry sriracha seasoning.

No worries if you do not have the dry sriracha seasoning, you can use any seasoning blend of choice.

Next up is making the cream cheese sriracha spread that will go over the chicken.

I mixed mine right in the container of whipped cream cheese, simply add a few tablespoons of sriracha and garlic powder then mix until evenly combined.

Sriracha and cream cheese mixture to top the chicken before mixing

Spread the cream cheese over top of each chicken breast.

I had the best luck spooning it over top and then using the back of the spoon to spread pretty evenly.

Don’t strive for perfection here… it doesn’t have to look perfect but I assure you it will taste perfect.

Chicken with the cheesy topping before adding bread crumbs

Then add some panko bread crumbs over each piece of chicken and press the crumbs into the cream cheese mixture.

You can give a little spray of olive oil cooking spray to ensure that the bread crumbs become a nice toasty golden brown.

Then set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the chicken is above 165 degrees.
