Air Fryer Tajin Chicken Wings
Air Fryer Tajin Chicken Wings is such an easy air fryer recipe with a secret trick to get the crispiest chicken skin without frying!
Tajin is a seasoning blend with chili and lime flavor.
It’s great for chicken wings, and you can even add a chicken wing sauce of choice if you like.
These were the perfect dinner for us, or serve as an appetizer or game day snack.
How to make Air Fryer Tajin Chicken Wings
As promised, here is my secret trick for crispy chicken skin… the first step is patting 1 1/2 pounds of chicken wings dry very well with paper towels.
These are jumbo spilt wings, but whole wings work too.
Put them in a bowl and add a tablespoon of baking powder, which is the second part of my crispy skin trick.
Then add 1 1/2 tablespoons of Tajin along with some kosher salt and pepper.
Not too much salt is needed since Tajin already contains some salt.
Mix the wings together until they are well coated.
Then place them in the air fryer basket.
I rolled the wings in the leftover seasoning at the bottom of the bowl before placing them in the air fryer basket.
Finally set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 24 to 26 minutes, or until the skin is cooked how you like.
You won’t believe how crispy and flavorful these Air Fryer Tajin Chicken Wings are just on their own!
Or toss them in your favorite buffalo wing sauce before serving 🙂
They have a great slightly spicy chili flavor complimented by the lime flavor in the seasoning.

Air Fryer Tajin Chicken Wings is an easy air fryer recipe with a simple seasoning and a secret trick for the crispiest chicken skin!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds jumbo split chicken wings (approx. 12 wings)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Tajin seasoning
- kosher salt, pepper
- Optional: chicken wing sauce of choice
Instructions

Pat the chicken wings dry very well with paper towels and put them in a bowl.

Add the baking powder, Tajin, kosher salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.

Put the wings in the air fryer basket, I rolled mine in the seasoning at the bottom of the bowl before putting in the air fryer. Set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 24 to 26 minutes, or until the skin is crisped how you prefer.

Serve plain or toss them in a chicken wing sauce of choice.
