Honey Sriracha Chicken Bites

Honey Sriracha Chicken Bites

Honey sriracha chicken bites is an easy six ingredient winner winner chicken dinner recipe!

In my opinion boneless skinless chicken thighs are the only way to go here.

They are extra juicy and flavorful and also a bit more budget friendly.

However, if you insist you can certainly use chicken breasts instead.

Either way the sauce is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy.

And great when served over some cooked Jasmine rice and broccoli for a complete meal.

How to make honey sriracha chicken bites

First trim any extra fat off of two pounds of boneless skinless chicken thighs.

Then cut them into bite sized pieces.

Ingredients for the chicken bites

In addition to very few ingredients for this flavorful dish, it gets bonus points for being a one pan meal!

Set a large skillet or wok over medium high heat and once hot add some vegetable oil.

Then in goes the bites of chicken along with a little bit of kosher salt and pepper.

We will be adding in some salty soy sauce later, so go a little light on the salt.

Pieces of chicken in the skillet before cooking

Cook the chicken for about 3 to 4 minutes by itself stirring a few times.

Then add in lots of minced garlic, two tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of sriracha, and two tablespoons of soy sauce.

Adding the garlic and sauce to the chicken

Cook the chicken with the sauce for three to four minutes.

Stir it a few times of course, and while the chicken is cooking slice a bunch of green onions into inch or two inch slices.

Sliced green onion

As this cooks you can see that the honey and sriracha mixture turns into a thicker glaze to coat the chicken.

Add in the sliced green onion pieces and cook another two to three minutes.

At this point taste for seasoning and add in more honey, siracha, and/or soy sauce if needed.

Mine was perfectly perfect for my taste…

But hey, everyone is different and you might want it to be a little sweeter or maybe even a little more spicy.

Honey Sriracha Chicken Bites

A sprinkle of sesame seeds adds both flavor and makes this dish even more gorgeous than it already is.

Honey Sriracha Chicken Bites

We served honey sriracha chicken bites with some cooked Jasmine rice and air fryer broccoli!

The Jasmine rice was super easy to make because I used the microwavable pouches from the grocery store.

And the ginger garlic broccoli took only minutes in the air fryer.

Both were really delicious with the honey sriracha sauce.
