Air Fryer Lemon Herb Chicken Thighs are bright and flavorful, and have that fresh feeling thanks to the herbs.
Anything with lemon just makes me feel happy 🙂
And adding the fresh herbs from my garden was the perfect combo with the lemon.
This was also a pretty easy dish to prepare.
A few minutes to chop the herbs and marinate the chicken, and the air fryer does the rest of the work for you.
How to Make Air Fryer Lemon Herb Chicken Thighs
First, put 4 to 5 chicken thighs in a gallon size plastic bag.
Then chop some fresh herbs of choice.
I had thyme, basil, rosemary, and chives growing in my garden so that’s what I went with.
Add the fresh herbs to the bag with the chicken along with lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
Massage the bag until everything is evenly combined.
Marinate in the fridge for a few hours or even overnight.
Then place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side up.
Sprinkle a little more kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes over top.
And then set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes.
Cook time will depend on the size of the chicken.
So check with an instant read thermometer to make sure they are above 165 degrees.
