Traeger Pigs In A Blanket
There’s absolutely nothing fancy about these Traeger Pigs In A Blanket, but they are extra tasty.
I followed my normal, traditional recipe with just using hot dogs and crescent rolls.
But what makes them extraordinary is the wood fired flavor they gain from the Traeger pellet grill.
Just a subtle smoky flavor that will make your family wonder what makes them so darn delicious đŸ™‚
How to Make Traeger Pigs In A Blanket
You can use any hot dog you would like, I am using the cheese hot dogs simply because that’s what my husband bought.
Our kids did seem to love the cheesy aspect though đŸ™‚
The hot dogs and two packages of crescent roll dough is all you’ll need.
First, separate the crescent dough triangles and cut the hot dogs in half.
Then place half a hot dog in the center of each crescent dough triangle.
Roll them up and place them on a baking sheet.
Make sure there’s a little room between each one because they will puff up slightly.
Then set your Traeger pellet grill to 325 degrees.
And place the baking sheet on the grill grate for 23 to 26 minutes.
Traeger Pigs In A Blanket will puff up and become slightly golden brown đŸ™‚
You can serve them with ketchup or mustard if desired, or they are wonderful just on their own.
A simple, easy meal or you could serve them as a party appetizer.
Either way they are sure to be a hit!
