Honey Balsamic Steak Kabobs

Honey Balsamic Steak Kabobs

Honey Balsamic Steak Kabobs were not only a simple recipe to make, they were quite tasty.

A simple steak and potatoes meal is one of my family’s favorites.

You can cook these on a regular grill or on the Blackstone Griddle.

I opted for the Blackstone because I made the potatoes right at the same time on the griddle.

I started this in the morning so it would have plenty of time to marinate.

You could even prepare it the night before to give more time for the steak to soak up even more flavor.

How to Make Honey Balsamic Steak Kabobs

This is almost a 2 pound flat iron steak.

Cut the steak into inch size cubes and put them in a gallon size plastic bag.

To the bag add 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 2 Tbsps honey, and a Tbsp each of olive oil, dijon mustard, garlic paste, and Italian seasoning.

Then a good amount of kosher salt, some pepper, and a little crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.

Massage the bag until it’s combined and marinate in the fridge.

Put the steak on kabob skewers.

These are metal, but if using wood I recommend soaking them in water for a few hours.

This will help prevent them from burning on the grill.

Preheat your grill (or Blackstone griddle in my case) to medium high heat and once it’s nice and hot, put the kabobs on.

They only take 3 to 4 minutes per side.

I have to say I was impressed with the caramelization achieved on the Blackstone.

But a regular grill will sure give some great grill marks.

I made potatoes at the same time.

They look plain now, but I topped them with cheese and bacon before serving them.

An excellent side for the steak đŸ™‚

Honey Balsamic Steak Kabobs

Honey Balsamic Steak Kabobs had my family raving about how tasty they were!

I am a saucy person, and so is my daughter.

Both of us agreed the flavor was so on point we didn’t even want a sauce.

My husband’s friend was over and got to enjoy dinner with us as well.
