Bourbon and Coke Steak Kabobs
Bourbon and Coke Steak Kabobs was our fun Friday night dinner on the patio meal, and they were awesome!
This could quite possibly be the manliest thing I have ever made…Bourbon and Coke, combined with steak!
I am seriously making Tim Allen from Home Improvement man sounds right now (they sound awful, but hilarious 😉 ).
How to make Bourbon and Coke Steak Kabobs
I ordered a two pound flat iron steak and cut it into inch size cubes.
I put them in a gallon size plastic bag and added bourbon, Coke, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar.
The bag gets massaged until everything is combined and marinates in the fridge overnight.
Put the cubes on kabob skewers and sprinkle all sides with kosher salt and pepper.
Yes, the soy sauce in the marinade is salty, but trust me you need the extra kosher salt and pepper before grilling.
Place them on a grill over medium to medium high heat.
I love grilling on the patio in the summer.
Not only is it pretty awesome not having to heat up the kitchen, it just feels fun and effortless.
Who knows, maybe I’m just weird, but I love it 🙂
These took about 10 minutes, I turned them a few times.
Holy cow the smell is ridiculously amazing, just a slight hint of bourbon with the steak…my mouth was watering for sure!
