Smoked Salmon Dip
I made a whole smoked salmon last week. Some of it I used to make Salmon Pasta with Pesto Cream Sauce (SO good by the way!). The rest I used to make this amazing Smoked Salmon Dip recipe.
Words cannot describe how incredible this dip is!
I talked it up to my good friend and brought her in some to try.
She was blown away by the amazing flavor even after I explained how insanely delicious it was.
Something about the combination of the salmon, fresh lemon, and the fresh dill is magical.
You certainly do not have to smoked your own salmon for this dip.
They have already smoked salmon at most seafood counters at the grocery store.
How to Make Smoked Salmon Dip
Start with a pound of smoked salmon.
Flake it into smaller pieces with a fork just like this.
And put the salmon in a large bowl.
Add and 8 oz. block of cream cheese at room temp to make it easier to stir.
Then add 1/2 cup of mayo and 1/2 cup sour cream and a Tbsp Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce.
Old Bay is great in any seafood dish.
Next add chopped capers, a few dashed os Tabasco sauce, and chopped fresh dill.
Now that everything is in the bowl, all that’s left to do is mix it up with a spoon.
Sprinkle more fresh dill over top Smoked Salmon Dip to make it even prettier!
Serve with pita chips for dipping and enjoy 🙂
YUM!
