Slow Cooker Caramelized Onion and Bacon Dip

Slow Cooker Caramelized Onion and Bacon Dip

Slow Cooker Caramelized Onion and Bacon Dip is a must try again soon appetizer recipe!

I brought this dip to Thanksgiving as an appetizer, and it was just as big of a hit as the actual Thanksgiving feast!

This dish doesn’t require much work, but it is a time investment.

Only because it takes 8 to 10 hours for the onions in the slow cooker.

I would recommend being home because you do have to stir it a few times.

Luckily though this can be made several days in advance, stored in the fridge, and warmed in the microwave when serving.

Here’s how to make Slow Cooker Caramelized Onion and Bacon Dip

Thinly slice 4 yellow onions and place them in the slow cooker.

Season with kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.

And set the slow cooker to low for 8 to 10 hours, stirring a few times throughout.
