Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese
This easy Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese recipe is extra creamy, extra cheesy, and extra addicting!
Let me just tell you a little story about just how insanely addicting this really is.
I made this on a Wednesday night, and on Thursday afternoon after I dreamed about it ALLLLLLL day.
I came home, ignored my sweet husband who was greeting me at the door.
And ran straight past him to the fridge for more mac and cheese that we had leftover.
Oh my goodness, I feel like I can’t even put into words just how much this will change your world.
Ok, I will shut up now and share the recipe with you 😉
Here’s how to make Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese
Just about all the ingredients you see right here.
Cook the pasta first in salted water and drain it really well.
Then add the cooked pasta to the slow cooker.

Next add the whole milk, a can of evaporated milk, kosher salt, pepper, dry mustard, cream cheese, and shredded colby jack and gouda.
Oh, and an entire stick of butter.
Hey…I didn’t claim I was making anything healthy here, but it’s SOOOO worth it!

Some slow cooker meals can cook all day while you are at work with no problem, but this is not one of them.
You do have to be home to keep stirring it.
It takes 2 to 3 hours on low, with several stirs in between.
You will almost think there’s no way this will come together into a mac and cheese.
Up until the 2 hour mark it will look very liquidy, but please trust me when I say it will all come together.

Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese can be topped with even more cheese right before serving.

YUM!
