Grape and Blue Cheese Flatbreads

Share Post
Even as I am typing this, Grape and Blue Cheese Flatbreads sound like such an odd combo.
I had something similar at a restaurant and wanted to recreate it.
My family was all like “Ummm…Ok this is weird” but once they tasted it, their feelings very much changed to “Oh my goodness this is amazing!”.
Something about the sweetness from the grapes and honey and the saltiness of the blue cheese just works 🙂
Stonefire Naan Flatbreads are my go to for flatbreads.

And I feel like I have become slightly addicted to flatbreads lately, so I hope you all don’t get tired of lots more flatbread recipes 😉
These can be baked in the oven or smoked on the Traeger.
Whichever cooking method you choose, start by brushing the flatbreads with olive oil.
If baking, bake the flatbreads in a 400 degree oven for a few minutes and then top them.
If smoking them you can add the toppings right after the olive oil.
How to make Grape and Blue Cheese Flatbreads
First sprinkle a cup and a half of shredded mozzarella cheese over top.

Then blue cheese crumbles, red grapes that have been sliced in half, and candied walnuts.

I smoked my flatbreads on my Traeger smoker at 375 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes.
If baking they will go into a 400 degree oven for 5 to 6 minutes, since the crust was already prebaked they won’t take long.

The crust will be slightly crisp and the cheese all melted and ooey gooey 🙂

Sprinkle a little fresh thyme over top of the Grape and Blue Cheese Flatbreads.
Oh, and a drizzle honey over top as well.
