Bang Bang Chicken Wings
I made some Air Fryer Bang Bang Shrimp last week and my husband suggested a recipe for Bang Bang Chicken Wings for this week.
Gosh I’m sure glad I keep that man around because they were REALLY good!
How to make Bang Bang Chicken Wings
I seasoned four pounds of wings with olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
Pat them dry as much as possible first, this will help create a crispier skin.
Then placed them in a single layer on a wire baking rack over a lined baking sheet.
You’ll thank me later for the suggestion of lining the baking sheet 😉
It makes cleanup SO much easier.
Bake the wings in a 425 degree oven for 20 minutes, then flip and cook another 20 minutes.
While the wings are baking in the oven, you can make the homemade bang bang sauce.
Simply whisk mayo, sweet Thai chili sauce, and Sriracha in a bowl and set aside.
After the wings have baked for 40 minutes total (20 minutes per side) brush them with the bang bang sauce.
And bake another 5 to 8 minutes.
One more flip and brush them again.
And another 5 to 8 minutes in the oven and you have yourself some pretty darn yummy wings!
.
Of course you’ll have some extra of that amazing bang bang sauce to serve on the side for dipping.
You can also sprinkle some chives or green onions on Bang Bang Chicken Wings to make them even more pretty!
I served mine on this gorgeous plate that my daughter made for me in her pottery class 🙂
