Grilled Buffalo Chicken Flatbreads were our fun weekend dinner and they were super yummy! By using the already pre cooked Naan bread, it made them extra easy. You could use any pre cooked flatbread if you can’t find the Naan bread of course.
I made these on the grill because it was a gorgeous sunny day and we were hanging out on the patio. These could easily be made in the oven preheated to 400 degrees for about 10 to 14 minutes if you don’t feel like grilling them.
How to make Grilled Buffalo Chicken Flatbreads
Set the grill to right around 350 degrees. You don’t want the grill too hot because the bottom of the flatbreads will burn before the cheese melts.
I made these before putting them on the grill by drizzling some ranch dressing and buffalo sauce first. We like Frank’s Buffalo Wing sauce, but any buffalo sauce will work 🙂
Next top with some already cooked chicken, either diced or shredded, that has been tossed with some buffalo sauce.
Finally add your choice of cheese. I used both blue cheese and a blend of shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack. The kids prefer no blue cheese, so I just left it off of their flatbread.
Place the flatbread on the grill and close the lid for about 10 to 12 minutes.
I checked a few times to make sure the temp stayed right around 350, and checked to make sure the crust was the right crispiness for us.
When the cheese is melted to perfection and the crust is the right about of crispiness, top with green onions and serve.
Each of these Grilled Buffalo Chicken Flatbreads served two people for us and they were quite the hit with everyone 🙂
More must try flatbreads on the grill…
Grilled Buffalo Chicken Flatbreads
Buffalo chicken and cheesy goodness grilled on a crisp flatbread
- 1 1/2 cups cooked or shredded chicken
- 3/4 cup buffalo sauce (or more to taste)
- 1 2-count package Stonefire Naan bread
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese of choice
- Optional: green onions
In a bowl, add the chicken and 1/4 cup of the buffalo sauce. Stir until evenly mixed.
Drizzle the remaining buffalo sauce and ranch dressing on the two Naan flatbreads.
Top the Naan flatbreads with the buffalo chicken, blue cheese crumbles, and shredded cheese.
Place the Naan flatbreads on a grill preheated to 350 degrees. Close the lid for 10 to 14 minutes, checking occasionally. Once the cheese is melted and the Naan bread is crispy enough for you, remove from the grill and sprinkle with green onions if desired.
