
Buffalo Pretzel Crusted Chicken
So my kids snack on Snyder’s of Hanover Buffalo Pretzel Pieces a lot. Several years ago we had the genius recipe idea of using them to make Buffalo Pretzel Crusted Chicken.
SOOOO GOOD!
And even better dipped in buffalo ranch dressing 🙂
How to make Buffalo Pretzel Crusted Chicken
This starts with 1 1/2 pounds of chicken breasts cut into strips.
You will need a food processor to turn the pretzel pieces into pretzel crumbs.
Then dip a chicken strip into some beaten eggs, into the pretzel crumbs, and on to a wire baking rack over a baking sheet.
The very first time I thought there would have been enough salt in the pretzel, but I was wrong.
Live and learn, right?
It does need just that little bit of kosher salt and pepper sprinkled over top.

This bakes in a 425 degree oven for about 20 minutes.
No need to flip them thanks to the wire baking rack.
It keeps the air circulating making them extra crisp.

The buffalo ranch dipping sauce is literally just buffalo sauce and ranch dressing mixed together.
Serve this buffalo pretzel crusted chicken with the buffalo ranch sauce on the side and dig in!

Buffalo Pretzel Crusted Chicken
Chicken tenders breaded with buffalo pretzels and baked in the oven
Ingredients
- 3 cups Snyder’s of Hanover Buffalo Pretzel Pieces
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 pounds chicken breasts
- kosher salt, pepper
- 3/4 cup ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup buffalo wing sauce
Instructions

Put the buffalo pretzel pieces in a food processor for at least 1 minute, until the pretzel pieces look like bread crumbs. Pour into a bowl.

Beat the eggs in another bowl.

Cut the chicken breasts into strips or pieces. Dip each piece of chicken in the egg, then into the buffalo pretzel crumbs. Press the crumbs slightly into the chicken.

Place the pretzel crusted chicken on a wire baking rack over a lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with kosher salt and pepper.

Bake in a 425 degree oven for 20-22 minutes.

Combine the ranch dressing and buffalo sauce in a bowl and stir until evenly mixed. Serve the chicken with the dipping sauce.
