I was super pumped to try some Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Wings to see just how crisp they would get.
In my opinion, the best part of chicken wings is the crispy skin.

I tried a few batches and this one, for me, created the crispiest skin and best flavor.
One of the best things about my husband, he’s always willing to help me with recipe testing.
I mean, what a great guy being happy to try as many chicken wings as it takes 😉
He also helped me when I was trying recipes for Maple Bourbon Candied Bacon a few weeks ago…always willing to help, that sweet husband of mine.

How to Make Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Wings
I began by tossing some jumbo split chicken wings with olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Always so much easier if you buy the already split wings.
These babies go into the air fryer for 20 minutes set to 400 degrees.

Flip them and they go back into the air fryer for another 15 minutes set to 400 degrees.
I took the temp and they were well above the 170 degree doneness about halfway through…but I wanted that crispy skin so I kept them going.

Brush all sides with buffalo wing sauce and back into the air fryer for another 5 minutes.
We used Frank’s Buffalo Wing sauce, but you can use your favorite buffalo sauce.

So there you have it…air fryer buffalo chicken wings cooked to crispy perfection 🙂
They were super crispy and extra delicious!

Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing and enjoy!
