With it being the beginning of fall I was wanting to make an easy Caramel Apple Dip recipe for dessert.

When your adult children come for a visit is the perfect reason to make a special dessert recipe.

And when they actually ASK to come over, you try to hold back your excitement that they actually WANT to hang out.

In fear of seeming weird or like you really don’t have a life.

All the while doing your inner happy dance!

Hoping this dip will make them want to return for another visit soon.

My wonderful friend made this a few weeks ago at a baby shower and I got the recipe from her.

She was flattered and even said “Wait…YOU want a recipe from ME?!” 🙂

How to Make Caramel Apple Dip

It starts with softened cream cheese spread in a casserole dish.

I used the back side of a spoon and it spread very easily.

A 16 oz container of caramel dip goes right on top of the cream cheese.

I chopped a Heath Bar into tiny pieces to sprinkle over top.

I served this Caramel Apple Dip with a bag of baked apple chips.

And also a Honeycrisp apple that I cut into thin slices.

You for sure needed a spoon to help scoop the dip onto the apples and apple chips.

And fair warning that it’s a little messy…but totally worth it!

The food was fabulous, and this was the perfect dessert for a crisp, fall evening.

But I even more enjoyed visiting with my amazing family 🙂
