S'mores Dip

S’mores Dip

Even I can make this super simple S’mores Dip recipe!

I will say this with every dessert recipe I make, if it’s not easy and simple…I’m not doin’ it.

I can chiffonade, poach, blanche, macerate, and emulsify all day long and blindfolded…but when it comes to desserts I’m on the struggle bus for sure.

(And if you did not understand anything I just said that I CAN do, welcome to my poor husband’s world everyday of living with me)

We are SO close to campfire weather but my daughter wanted S’mores today.

I’m not making a fire when it’s freezing cold, so we made s’mores inside tonight.

How to Make S’mores Dip

In an 8 inch cast iron skillet coat with 1 Tbsp melted butter, and break apart 6 chocolate bars right into the skillet.

I’m sure chocolate chip would work too.

Put the skillet in a 400 degree oven just for about 2 minutes to get the chocolate nice and melty, but not all the way melted.

Then put a single layer of jumbo marshmallows on the top.

Back into the oven for 4-6 minutes.

Now this kinda depends on how you like your marshmallows cooked.

I like mine darn near close to burnt, but she likes hers more golden like these.

She even arranged the graham crackers while I was watching the magic happen in the oven 🙂

*proud momma moment*

It doesn’t get much better having Warm-Ooey-Gooey S’mores Dip like this when it’s cold and yucky outside!
