S’mores Cookies

Recently someone told me they were making a S’mores cookies recipe, intrigued I asked how they were made.

She said chocolate chip cookies with graham crackers and marshmallows.

My instant thought was Golden Grahams!

Which happen to be one of my favorite childhood cereals 🙂

Adding Golden Grahams, mini marshmallows, and a little extra chocolate by adding a Hershey Bar to your favorite chocolate chip cookie batter is absolute heaven!

How to Make S’mores Cookies

I used two box mixes for this recipe of chocolate chip cookies.

I’m more of a cook than a baker.

So I take all the help I can when it comes to making desserts.

If you have a really good homemade cookie recipe use that 🙂

My box recipes called for 2 sticks of butter and 2 eggs so I mixed those according to the package directions.

Then added the cereal, marshmallows, and a chopped up Hershey bar.

I wanted these cookies to be pretty big, so scooped up about 2 inch balls of batter.

Then placed 6 cookies per baking sheet to give them room to spread out.

My cookie box directions said to make at 375 for 12 minutes, and they turned out perfectly!

My favorite part was the marshmallows that caramelized around the bottom of the cookies.

I could not stop picking at those!

I was feeding a crowd so that’s why I went with using 2 boxes of cookie mix, you could easily cut the recipe in half.

Warning though…they are addicting so you may want to go with the full recipe even if you you don’t need that many 🙂
