Spicy Tuna Sushi Bowls
This recipe is ridiculously easy and super budget friendly, but Spicy Tuna Sushi Bowls feel like a fancy sushi meal at home.
The magic really happens with the optional toppings like this ginger soy glaze, which can be found in the Asian section of the grocery store or Amazon.
We also added wasabi and pickled ginger.

How to make Spicy Tuna Sushi Bowls
First, drain 2 can of tuna very well.
I used the 5-ounce cans of tuna packed in water.
Then add 1/2 cup of sriracha mayo to the bowl.
And mix until combined.
I used the premixed sriracha mayo, but you could always mix some mayo with sriracha for a less expensive option.

Then microwave 2 pouches of rice for 90 seconds each, or according to the package directions.
I used seasoned Jasmine rice, but the cilantro lime rice is very good also!
Put the rice into two bowls since this recipe serves two.
I like to let the rice come to room temperature.

Put the spicy tuna mixture over the rice.
And drizzle the ginger soy glaze, plus more sriracha mayo right over top.

Spicy Tuna Sushi Bowl truly are that easy!
Other topping options, besides the wasabi and pickled ginger that I mentioned earlier, include soy sauce, sesame seeds, and green onions.

Enjoy this simple, cheap meal with chop sticks or a fork… your choice.
