High Protein Burger Sauce

High Protein Burger Sauce

I have been on quite the kick lately creating healthy homemade sauces with cottage cheese, and since it was burger night… I made a High Protein Burger Sauce!

This recipe is soooo easy, plus you can store it in the fridge to use throughout the week in wraps, burger bowls or salads, a dip for fries, and obviously on burgers.

Typical burger sauce has tons of calories and zero protein… this sauce packs 4 grams of protein per serving AND only 48 calories.

How to make High Protein Burger Sauce

Start with a cup of cottage cheese in your blender or food processor.

Then add 2 to 3 tablespoons each of ketchup and pickle juice.

Plus a little yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, a pinch of sugar, kosher salt, pepper, and your favorite burger seasoning blend.

adding ingredients to blender

And just blend until smooth.

You can add a splash of milk for a thinner sauce, or even a little more milk for a salad or burger bowl dressing.

Taste for seasoning and add anything you think it needs.
