Baked Surf and Turf Sandwiches
These Baked Surf and Turf Sandwiches are part of my Blackstone High Protein Meal Prep Series!
But you could easily use leftover shrimp and steak, or make the shrimp and steak in a skillet just for this delicous ciabatta sandwich recipe.

How to make Baked Surf and Turf Sandwiches
Since my steak and shrimp were already cooked thanks to my Blackstone High Protein Meal Prep Series, all I had to do was slice the steak.

Then place the bottom halves of two ciabatta rolls on a baking sheet and drizzle some remoulade sauce.
You could also mix some mayo with Cajun seasoning in place of the remoulade.

Next pile on the sliced steak and shrimp.

Add some shredded cheese and press down as you place the top bun.
Cover with foil and bake in a 350 degree oven for about 12 minutes.

Seriously, Baked Surf and Turf Sandwiches really are THAT easy!

Baked Surf and Turf Sandwiches
Baked Surf and Turf Sandwiches is part of my high protein Blackstone griddle meal prep series, but skillet directions in the recipe included!
Ingredients
- 2 ciabatta rolls sliced in half
- store bought remoulade sauce or mayo mixed with a little Cajun seasoning
- 8 to 10 cooked steak slices
- 1 cup cooked, chopped shrimp
- 1 lemon wedge
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese of choice
Instructions
-
**Note** This is part of my High Protein Blackstone Griddle Meal Prep Series, details in post above.
I cooked the steak and shrimp on my griddle ahead of time, but you could cook a small sirloin steak that has been sliced and some jumbo shrimp (cut into thirds) in a skillet over medium heat with a little olive oil for 4 to 5 minutes (season with kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder, and lemon juice) if not following this meal prep series… or use leftover cooked steak and shrimp.
-
Place the bottom ciabatta rolls on a baking sheet. Drizzle the remoulade sauce on bottom bun and add steak slices, shrimp, squeeze the lemon wedge over top, add cheese, and press down as you add the top bun.
-
Cover with foil and bake in a 350 degree oven for 12 minutes.
