Maple Mustard Chicken and Apples
I’ve got an easy sheet pan dinner recipe today, perfect for this busy back to school and fall sports time… Maple Mustard Chicken and Apples.
We had this with a side of crescent rolls for the perfect one pan complete dinner.

How to make Maple Mustard Chicken and Apples
Start by cutting 1 1/2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken thighs into bite size pieces.
Chicken breasts work too, I just love the thighs, and they are so budget friendly.

And put them on a lined baking sheet.

Then dice a large Honeycrisp apple and add that to the sheet pan with the chicken.
And season with kosher salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and a seasoning blend of choice.
I went with Old Bay.

Next add about 3 tablespoons of either Dijon or whole grain mustard.
And the same amount of pure maple syrup.

Mix this together right on the sheet pan, I just used my hands to make it super simple.
And bake in a 400-degree oven for about 25 minutes.

And add some additional toppings such as crumbled goat cheese, dried cranberries, and fresh thyme.

That’s it… Maple Mustard Chicken and Apples really is that quick and easy!
