Reese’s Chex Mix
A sweet and salty snack recipe perfect for a party or just keep it around the house for munching… this Reese’s Chex Mix is sure to become a new family favorite!
Peanut butter and chocolate just make the world go round, and combined with Chex cereal, peanuts, and pretzels it’s leveled up even more.

How to make Reese’s Chex Mix
First measure 6 cups of Corn Chex cereal and 6 cups of mini pretzel twists and put into a large bowl.

Then melt a stick of butter and combine that with 1/4 cup of brown sugar.

Pour the butter into the bowl with the Chex and pretzels.
And toss until it’s evenly coated.

Spread this mixture onto two baking sheets in a single layer.
And pop them into a 250-degree oven for 45 to 55 minutes.
Toss them around a few times as they do their thing in the oven.

Then sprinkle 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips and place back into the oven for just like a minute or two.
Just until they get a little melty.

Stir this around on the baking sheets so the melted chocolate coats some of snack mix.
Then add some peanuts and kosher or Himalayan Sea salt.
And give it another mix to create some clusters of goodness 🙂
Let this cool completely, even place in the freezer to speed up the process if you’d like, and then toss together with a bag of mini Reese’s cups.

Reese’s Chex Mix truly is everything you’re imagining right now 🙂

Reese’s Chex Mix
Reese's Chex Mix is a sweet and salty recipe with Reese's peanut butter cups and chocolate for the perfect party food or kid friendly snack!
Ingredients
- 6 cups Chex cereal (I used Corn Chex)
- 6 cups mini pretzel twists
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup peanuts
- kosher or Himalayan Sea salt
- 1 (7.6-ounce) bag Mini Reese's Cups
Instructions
-
Put the Chex and pretzels in a large bowl. Mix the butter and brown sugar together in a smaller bowl, stir until combined and brown sugar has started to dissolve.
-
Pour some of the brown sugar butter into the bowl with the Chex and pretzels and stir. Continue adding more butter and stirring until it's coated with all the butter.
-
Spread this mixture onto two baking sheets in a single layer and bake in a 250-degree oven for 45 to 55 minutes, stirring a few times.
-
Sprinkle the chocolate chips over top and place back in the oven for another minute until chocolate is melted. Gently stir so the melted chocolate coats some of the Chex and pretzels. Add in peanuts and some kosher or Himalayan Sea salt and give it another quick mix.
-
Let cool (place in fridge or freezer if desired) and put back into the large bowl with the mini Reese's cups. Stir until combined and serve. Store leftovers in a covered container for up to 5 days.
