Fruity Pebbles Ice Cream Bread

When I first heard of this easy recipe, I knew I wanted to make Fruity Pebbles Ice Cream Bread with the grandkids!

I follow Patrick Springer and saw him make his own version with sprinkles, so we decided to add the cereal and top the loaf with an easy to make icing.

How to make Fruity Pebbles Ice Cream Bread

You only need a few ingredients… a pint of thawed vanilla ice cream, 1 1/2 cups of self-rising flour, 1/3 cup of sugar, and Fruity Pebbles cereal.

First pour the pint of thawed vanilla ice cream into a bowl.

Then add the self-rising flour and sugar to the bowl.

These two did a great job taking turns!!

Mix together with either a spoon or a hand mixer.

Then add 1 1/2 cups of Fruity Pebbles cereal and fold it together.

Here is where you can add any mix-ins of your choosing if you don’t want to go with our cereal version.

Pour the batter into a well-greased bread loaf pan.

And bake in a 350-degree oven for 35 to 45 minutes.

Let the bread cool slightly and turn the loaf pan upside down to remove the bread.

Once the bread is cooled completely, mix together 1/2 cup of powdered sugar with 2 teaspoons of milk or water to make an icing to drizzle over top.

And sprinkle a few more Fruity Pebbles over top as well.

Fruity Pebbles Ice Cream Bread is an easy snack recipe with vanilla ice cream as the base of a tasty loaf of bread!

Ingredients

  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream thawed
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal (plus more to sprinkle over top)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons milk (or water)

Instructions

  1. Put ice cream, flour, and sugar in a larger mixing bowl. Beat with a hand mixer or stir with a spoon until combined, about 1 minute.

  2. Add the Fruity Pebbles and stir with a spoon until combined.

  3. Pour into a greased bread loaf pan and bake in a 350-degree oven for 35 to 45 minutes.

  4. Let cool and remove from bread pan. Mix together the powdered sugar and milk or water, drizzle over the bread loaf, and sprinkle more Fruity Pebbles over top.
