
Garlic Ranch Green Beans
When you need a simple easy, kid friendly side dish recipe, these Garlic Ranch Green Beans won’t let you down.
I made some Smoked Chicken Thighs and this simple side dish was the perfect pairing.
How to make Garlic Ranch Green Beans
Start by microwaving a 12-ounce bag of trimmed green beans according to the package directions.
While they were in the microwave, I diced a small onion and minced some garlic.

Set a large skillet over medium heat, add some olive oil and the diced onion.
Cook the onion for about 5 minutes, stirring a few times.
Then add the green beans from the bag, some butter, and the minced garlic.

Also about a tablespoon of dry ranch seasoning, I actually went with this Blackstone Parmesan Ranch seasoning blend.
Some kosher salt, pepper, and if you’d like, add some all-purpose seasoning blend of choice as well.

Cook for just another 5 minutes or so, and it’s done.
Seriously, that’s it!

Garlic Ranch Green Beans
Garlic Ranch Green Beans is an easy side dish recipe that is kid friendly, a sure way to get the family to eat their vegetables!
Ingredients
- 1 (12-ounce) bag green beans
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion diced
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon dry ranch seasoning (I used Blackstone Parmesan Ranch seasoning blend)
- kosher salt, pepper, all-purpose seasoning blend of choice (optional)
Instructions

Microwave the bag of green beans according to the package directions (I poked a hole in my bag and microwaved for 3 minutes).

Set a skillet over medium heat while the green beans are in the microwave. Add the olive oil and onion. Cook 5 minutes, stirring a few times.

Add the green beans from the bag, garlic, butter, ranch seasoning, kosher salt, pepper, and seasoning blend of choice (if using). Cook 5 minutes, stirring a few times.
