Asian Zing Salmon and Potatoes
Asian Zing Salmon and Potatoes is a complete one pan dinner recipe with a sweet and slightly spicy kick.
I am using the Buffalo Wild Wings Asian Zing sauce because my son adores it, but a sweet Thai chili sauce works too.
You can add your own creativity or personality to this recipe by using any seasoning blend of choice.
I decided to use the Blackstone Honey Jalapeno seasoning blend to match the sweet and spicy flavor profile 🙂
How to make Asian Zing Salmon and Potatoes
First dice 1 1/2 pounds of redskin potatoes and put them on a lined baking sheet.

Drizzle olive oil over top and season with kosher salt, pepper, and any seasoning blend that you prefer.

Toss the potatoes until they are well coated and place in a 375-degree oven for 25 minutes.
The potatoes have a longer cook time than the salmon so that’s why we are starting them first.

Next, scoot the potatoes to the edges of the baking sheet to make room for the salmon.
I have a gorgeous 2-pound side of salmon for this meal.

Place the large side of salmon on the baking sheet and brush with soy sauce.

Then season with kosher salt, pepper, and your seasoning blend of choice.
And place this back into the 375-degree oven for 10 minutes.

Brush some Asian Zing or sweet Thai chili sauce over top.

And bake another 10 minutes.
This will allow juuuuuust enough time for the sauce to sort of caramelize but not overcook (aka-burn) due to the sugar in the sauce.

Garnish Asian Zing Salmon and Potatoes with sesame seeds and green onions if desired 🙂
This just makes the presentation very pretty, but not really needed.

Simply slice the salmon and serve with the potatoes and a little extra Asian Zing for dipping.
