Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken Thighs

Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken Thighs is such an easy 4 ingredient recipe!

It only takes a few minutes to throw this simple dinner together, and it cooks perfectly in the air fryer.

Bonus points too that chicken thighs are so darn cheap, so this is also a budget friendly meal.

You can use any brand of lemon pepper seasoning, and we are really going bright and fresh with real lemon juice as well.

How to make Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken Thighs

First put 4 to 5 chicken thighs into a gallon size plastic bag.

This makes for easy and mess free marinating.

Then add some soy sauce, lemon juice, lemon pepper seasoning, kosher salt, and pepper.

Massage the bag until the chicken is coated and marinate in the fridge at least for a few hours.

Or you can do this the night before!

Next remove the chicken thighs from the bag and put them in the air fryer basket.

Sprinkle a little more kosher salt, pepper, and lemon pepper seasoning over top too.

Then set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes.

Or until the internal temperature of the chicken is above 165 degrees.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning (plus more to sprinkle over top)
  • kosher salt, pepper

Instructions

  1. Put the chicken thighs in a gallon size plastic bag with the lemon juice, soy sauce, lemon pepper seasoning, kosher salt, and pepper. Massage the bag until combined, marinate in the fridge for a few hours if possible but not necessary.

  2. Put the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side up. Sprinkle more lemon pepper seasoning, kosher salt, and pepper over top.

  3. Set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken is above 165 degrees.
