Air Fryer BBQ Chicken and Corn

You ever hear the phrase, “Complicated is overrated”? Well that’s the theme with this easy recipe for Air Fryer BBQ Chicken and Corn.

This is a complete meal for two all made in the air fryer and it could not be more simple.

But it truly is amazingly tasty and on the healthy side.

How to make Air Fryer BBQ Chicken and Corn

First cut a pound of boneless, skinless chicken thighs into bite size pieces.

The thighs are juicier, more tender, cheaper, and tastier… but breasts work too if you want a leaner cut of chicken.

Put them in a gallon size plastic bag with Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, plenty of BBQ seasoning, and minced garlic or garlic powder.

Massage the bag until well combined and marinate in the fridge.

Then brush two ears corn on the cob with olive oil.

And season them with kosher salt, pepper, and more BBQ seasoning.

Then put the seasoned corn and chicken bites into the air fryer basket.

Mine juuuuuuust fit in a single layer.

Set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 to 4 cloves garlic (or a teaspoon of garlic powder) minced
  • olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, BBQ seasoning
  • 2 ears corn on the cob
  • Optional: BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Put the chicken pieces into a gallon size plastic bag. Add the Worcestershire sauce, garlic or garlic powder, a drizzle of olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, and BBQ seasoning. Massage the bag until the chicken is evenly coated, marinate in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.

  2. Brush more olive oil on the corn and season all sides with kosher salt, pepper, and BBQ seasoning.

  3. Put the chicken and corn in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes. Serve with BBQ sauce if desired.
