Air Fryer Bang Bang Lobster

Air Fryer Bang Bang Lobster

When you’re feeling a little fancy, but still down to Earth enough to want to use your air fryer… might I suggest this recipe for Air Fryer Bang Bang Lobster?!

My grocery store recently had lobster tails on sale, so of course I took advantage of this amazing deal!

One of the recipes I made were these lobster bites that we just kinda had as a snack.

I mean, it’s a darn good day if LOBSTER is your SNACK, am I right?!

Lightly breaded lobster bites that gets super crisp in the air fryer, then tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce, and then dipped in ranch is quite the yummy combo.

How to make Air Fryer Bang Bang Lobster

I have about a pound of lobster tails here (which, as I mentioned I got for such a great price, so look for when they go on sale).

The breading is just flour, Old Bay, kosher salt, and pepper mixed together.

And the bang bang sauce is made from mayo, sweet Thai chili sauce, and sriracha.

ingredients for the lobster and sauce

I removed the lobster shells and cut them into about 2 inch pieces.

And the sauce is made by combining 1/3 cup each of the mayo and sweet Thai chili sauce.

Along with a few tablespoons of sriracha according to your spice preference.

Crack an egg and beat with a fork in one bowl.

And put 1/2 cup flour along with Old Bay, kosher salt, and pepper in another bowl.

Then set up your breading station like this next to your air fryer.

First dip each lobster piece into the egg and then into the seasoned flour.

Then place them in the air fryer basket.

I sprayed my air fryer basket first with non stick spray to prevent sticking.

Then another spray over top right before cooking to help them get golden brown.

Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to prevent sticking.

A few of mine did still stick a little, but were easily removed with a fork.

Toss them in a container with a lid with the bang bang sauce to evenly coat.

Serve Air Fryer Bang Bang Lobster with lemon wedges and ranch for dipping 🙂

If you have some bang bang sauce left go ahead and serve that with the bites as well.

I also garnished with some parsley because I can’t resist a pretty pop of color.
