And they can smoke away at the same time as your main dish.
I had a tri tip going at the same time as the taters so dinner was ready all at once 🙂
How to make Smoked BBQ Bacon Wrapped Potatoes
All you need are some petite size potatoes, either redskin or gold.
And some bacon, olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, and your favorite BBQ seasoning blend.

First put the petite size potatoes in a bowl.
And add some olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, and BBQ seasoning.
Then toss until they are evenly coated.
And cut the slices of bacon in half.

Wrap each half slice of bacon around each potato, overlapping slightly.
Place them on a tray, bacon seam side down.
And season with more of the BBQ seasoning.

Then put them on the smoker or Traeger pellet grill set to 250 degrees.
Make sure to place them with the bacon seam side down to keep them together.
They will smoke for about 2 hours total.
Just remove them once the bacon is cooked how you prefer 🙂

Serve Smoked BBQ Bacon Wrapped Potatoes with BBQ sauce or ranch for dipping!
They are a great side dish to go with just about any meal.
We had them with the smoked tri tip for a perfect steak dinner!
