Grilled BBQ Broccolini
Healthy side dish recipes for the grill seriously do NOT get any more simple than Grilled BBQ Broccolini!
Broccolini may be like a cousin of broccoli… however they are related, I much prefer the broccolini.
The texture is better in my opinion and it tastes slightly sweeter compared to regular broccoli.
Sorry, broccoli… we can still be friends, right?!
How to make Grilled BBQ Broccolini
First put a pound of broccolini in a bowl.
Then a good drizzle of olive oil, fresh minced garlic, kosher salt, and pepper.
Oh… and some of your favorite BBQ seasoning blend.
To mix this recipe up for another meal, try adding Cajun seasoning in place of the BBQ.
Toss the broccolini until evenly coated.
And then head out to the grill!
I grilled some Teriyaki BBQ Chicken Drumsticks at the same time.
The chicken takes longer, so just throw the broccolini on during the last few minutes of the chicken cooking.
Boom! A complete, healthy meal on the grill 🙂
These grill pretty quickly… just about 5 to 7 minutes on medium heat.
Flip them around a few times with tongs.
And remove the smaller, thinner pieces if you notice they are already cooked before the thicker ones.
What an easy and tasty side dish, Grilled BBQ Broccolini may be our new favorite!
