Air Fryer Cajun Surf and Turf
Typically when I hear “surf and turf” I think fancy schmancy-ness… but I pinky promise that is not the case with this air fryer Cajun surf and turf recipe!
I mean don’t get me wrong, it tastes and looks fancy… but is prepared and ready in just minutes with very minimal work involved.
You could certainly serve this as is or with your favorite dipping sauce.
We actually had ours over some fettuccine Alfredo.
How to make air fryer Cajun surf and turf
I am starting with a pound of New York strip steak and a pound of jumbo shrimp.
Cut the steak into inch size cubes and peel and devein the shrimp.
Then put the steak and shrimp into a bowl.
Drizzle some olive oil and season with garlic paste or minced garlic, Cajun seasoning, kosher salt, and pepper.
I do recommend checking the salt content of your Cajun seasoning as that will determine how much kosher salt you’ll add.
Toss until everything is evenly combined and the next stop is the air fryer basket!
With a pound of steak and a pound of shrimp, mine fit perfectly into my air fryer basket into a pretty even single layer.
Next just set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 7 to 9 minutes.
The time will depend on how you like your steak cooked.
You have to admit I delivered on my promise that air fryer Cajun surf and turf is super simple and super yummy!
