Air Fryer Indian Spiced Chicken Thighs
Weeknight dinner recipes do not get much more flavorful or more simple than air fryer Indian spiced chicken thighs!
I always keep chicken thighs on hand because they are such a quick and easy last minute meal.
These chicken thighs are flavored with Indian spices such as garam masala, Curry, and turmeric.
They are all spices that I keep on hand and use often.
How to make air fryer Indian spiced chicken thighs
First place four bone in and skin on chicken thighs in a gallon sized plastic bag.
Then add some soy sauce or coconut aminos, garlic and ginger paste, garam masala, Curry, turmeric, kosher salt, and pepper.
Also add some crushed red pepper flakes if you like things a little spicy.
Massage the bag until evenly mixed and marinate in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
Next place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket and season with more kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
Then set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes.
Cook time will depend on the size of the chicken thighs so I do recommend using a thermometer to make sure that the thighs are above 165 degrees.

Air Fryer Indian Spiced Chicken Thighs
Air Fryer Indian Spiced Chicken Thighs has the chicken marinating for hours in traditional Indian spices, then air fried until crispy!
Ingredients
- 4 bone in chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste or minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste or minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon garam masala spice blend
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- kosher salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions

Put the chicken thighs in a gallon size plastic bag. Put the soy sauce or coconut aminos, garlic, ginger, garam masala, Curry powder, ground turmeric, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes into the bag with the chicken.

Massage the bag until evenly combined and marinate in the fridge at least an hour or overnight.

Put the chicken thighs, skin side up, in the air fryer and sprinkle more kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes over top. Set the air fryer temp to 390 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes or until the internal temp is above 165 degrees.
