Blackstone Cajun Catfish and Asparagus
This Blackstone Cajun Catfish and Asparagus is not only delicious, it’s a super healthy recipe and SOOOO easy to make!
A few minutes to season the fish and a couple more minutes on the griddle and dinner is done 🙂
You can even serve this with spicy mayo and lemon wedges on the side for some extra yumminess.
How to Make Blackstone Cajun Catfish and Asparagus
Start with 4 catfish fillets and pat them dry with paper towels.
And sprinkle some flour on both sides.
Then rub the flour so it makes a thin, even layer on both sides of the fish.
The flour will help create a nice texture while the fish cooks.
Next season both sides of the fish with your favorite Cajun seasoning.
That’s pretty much all the prep work besides trimming the bottom inch or two off of a pound of asparagus.
Preheat the griddle to medium for several minutes.
Once hot, add some cooking oil or butter and the catfish and asparagus.
Sprinkle some of the Cajun seasoning on the asparagus once it hits the griddle.
The fish and asparagus will cook 8 to 10 minutes total.
Flip the fish halfway through and turn the asparagus a few times too.
The asparagus may be done before the fish, if so just remove it and let the fish cook a bit longer.
Dinners don’t get much easier than Blackstone Cajun Catfish and Asparagus!
We had ours with some spicy mayo on the side and some lemon wedges as well.
YUM!
