Air Fryer Salmon Avocado Burgers
Salmon and avocado are two superfoods that bring so much nutrition, so I am combining them into a recipe for Air Fryer Salmon Avocado Burgers.
I’ve been trying to eat a little healthier, but not willing to sacrifice all the yumminess.
These are proof that eating healthy does not have to be boring.
The bun for me was a must, but for an even healthier version these would be fantastic by themselves or in a low carb wrap.
Or even served as a lettuce wrap 🙂
How to Make Air Fryer Salmon Avocado Burgers
Start with a pound of salmon, with the skin removed, in the food processor.
I cut mine into chunks to help the food processor not to over mix these.

Just a few pulses is all you need.
Still some texture and not completely blended is the goal.

Put the salmon in a bowl and add a beaten egg, some garlic paste or minced garlic, and 1/4 cup bread crumbs.

For the seasoning I went with kosher salt, pepper, and an all purpose seasoning.
Any all purpose seasoning, or even Old Bay would be perfect.

Now that everyone is in the bowl, simply mix with your hands.
Be gentle, as overmixing may create a tougher and less delicate burger.

Once the salmon burgers are mixed, add a diced avocado and gently form this into four burger patties.
They are delicate, so I recommend placing them right into the air fryer basket.

Once they are in the basket, set the air fryer to 380 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
No need to flip or fuss with them at all 🙂

They get a nice golden color and slightly charred edges.

I had the best luck removing them with a spatula.

I am serving these burgers on these brioche buns.
But as I said earlier, a low carb wrap or lettuce wrap works too!

I added spicy mayo and lettuce to my Air Fryer Salmon Avocado Burgers!

Really any sauces or toppings would make these even more delicious.

I just wanted to keep it simple to enjoy the flavor of the salmon burgers.

-
Cut the skinless salmon into 2 inch pieces and put them in a food processor and pulse a few times so the salmon comes together but is not completely smooth.
