Stuffed Ham and Cheese Breakfast Rolls
Stuffed Ham and Cheese Breakfast Rolls are a fun and unique breakfast, brunch, or breakfast-for-dinner recipe.
It uses slider rolls, but instead of the traditional way of making them, hollow out the center and stuff them from the top.
Perfect way to use leftover ham, which is what we had from a recent holiday dinner.
How to Make Stuffed Ham and Cheese Breakfast Rolls
Start with placing a sheet of 12 sweet slider rolls in a casserole dish that has been sprayed with non stick cooking spray.

Then use a serrated bread knife to cut around the center of each roll.

Remove the center of each roll, but leave the bottoms.
I used a combo of a spoon and my hands to remove most of the middle of each one.

Press them slightly just like this.

Now for the “stuffed” part of this dish we will use eggs, cheese, and ham.

Crack 8 eggs in a bowl, season with kosher salt and pepper.
Use a fork to beat the eggs together.
Then add some diced ham and shredded cheese.
Leave some leftover ham and cheese for the topping.

Fill each little slider roll center with the egg, ham, and cheese mixture.
If some ends up on top of the rolls or in the creases, no worries.
It will all bake together and turn out great 🙂

Cover the casserole dish with foil and place right away into a 375 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Add more cheese and diced ham over top and bake another 10 to 15 minutes.

Cut them into individual rolls and serve.
Stuffed Ham and Cheese Breakfast Rolls were darn good and even reheated well the next day so we could enjoy them twice 🙂

Stuffed Ham and Cheese Breakfast Rolls start with Hawaiian slider rolls that are hollowed out and filled with eggs, ham, and cheese and baked
Ingredients
- 1 12 pack slider rolls (I used King's Hawaiian Rolls that were together as one sheet)

- kosher salt, pepper
- 1 1/4 cups diced ham
- 2 cups shredded cheese (I used Mexican blend)
Instructions
-
Spray the bottom of a casserole dish with non stick spray and place the sheet of slider rolls in the dish.
-
Use a serrated bread knife to cut the center out of each roll, but leave the bottom of the roll. Press the hollowed center of each roll to smooth the bottom and sides.
Note: Picture examples in post above.
-
Crack the eggs in a bowl, add kosher salt and pepper. Use a fork to beat the eggs until combined. Stir in most of the ham and most of the cheese.
-
Pour the egg mixture in the hollowed center of each slider roll, cover with foil and place right away into a preheated 375 degree oven for 30 minutes.
