Hawaiian Roll Cheesy Meatball Sliders
These Hawaiian Roll Cheesy Meatball Sliders are easy to prepare, delicious, and make the PERFECT game day snack (or these could easily be a meal).
When you are excited to watch the big game, yummy snacks are a must!
Even though this is a paid sponsorship with KING’S HAWAIIAN® Original Sweet Dinner Rolls and HOME CHEF® Premade Meatballs, all opinions are mine alone.
I am so glad to provide my family and friends with the same quality food, and hopefully the same memories that I have eating them as a kid.
So, for this game day treat, I am using the 24 pack of the King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls and 24 of the Home Chef Premade Meatballs.
How to Make Hawaiian Roll Cheesy Meatball Sliders

You have OH so many choices for the meatballs, friends.
I went with these Home Chef jumbo size beef and sausage meatballs since it was a special game day occasion.
But I made a batch for dinner last week using the Home Chef regular size beef meatballs for a quick and easy weeknight dinner.

Simply read the package on the Home Chef meatballs for cooking instructions and follow accordingly.
As the meatballs cook in the oven, start preparing the sliders by slicing the King’s Hawaiian Rolls in half so there’s a top and bottom portion.
Using a serrated bread knife is the way to go here 🙂
Making the sliders all on one sheet makes this effortless to prepare, so you can enjoy the big game with your friends and family.

First, lay 12 slices of provolone cheese over the bottom bread portion that has been placed on a baking sheet.

And once the meatballs are cooked, place them on the King’s Hawaiian rolls, over the cheese.
I just spaced them according to the 24 individual portions on the bread.

Next up we have some marinara sauce to spoon over top of each meatball.
The nice thing about the bottom layer of cheese (besides simply having more cheese 😉 ) is that it prevents the bottom layer from getting soggy from the sauce.

A little sprinkle of garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the sauce brings even more flavor.

Another layer of provolone goes over top.

Then place the top layer of bread and press down ever so slightly.
Brush some melted butter, and sprinkle more garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
I mean, let’s just take a moment to admire how delicious these look already!
Cover with foil and bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is nice and melty.

Once you remove the King’s Hawaiian Meatball Sliders from the oven, let them cool slightly.

They are golden brown on top, but still soft because we covered them with foil as they baked.

A little sprinkle of parmesan cheese over the Hawaiian Roll Cheesy Meatball Sliders and they are ready to serve!

.

Cut them into individual sandwiches and wait….wait for it…ohhhhhh that gorgeous cheese pull should make you feel darn proud.
And it will make your game day guests quite hungry and ready to dig in during the game.
