Turkey Club Roll Ups
This Turkey Club Roll Ups recipe is an easy copycat version based on me missing the ones at Applebee’s.
Several years ago Applebee’s had a roll up with ham and cheese, it was served with lettuce, salsa, and sour cream (if I am remembering correctly 😉 ).
They are kind of like a cross between a burrito and a turkey club sandwich, I suppose.
Bonus that they could not be simpler to make, especially great for a busy weeknight.
I’m pretty sure just about any kid would eat turkey, cheese, and a tortilla! Mix up the toppings or serve with no toppings for pickier eaters, of course.
They are really good with tortilla chips with extra salsa for dipping!
How to Make Turkey Club Roll Ups
All you need to begin are soft tortillas (these are 8 inch), cheddar and swiss cheese slices, and just about a pound of turkey.
Make these with really any cheese you prefer, I just love the combo of cheddar and swiss on my turkey club sandwiches, so that’s what I used for the roll ups.
Lay the tortillas flat and add two slices of cheese.
Then three pieces of deli turkey.
Then roll them up and lay them seam side down on a baking sheet.
Even more cheese goes over top, which is one of my favorite parts.
Into a 400 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes and the cheese will be ooey gooey melty over top.
These would be amazing served just like this!
.
I topped our Turkey Club Roll Ups with shredded lettuce, sour cream, and salsa with tortilla chips too!
This would have to be eaten with a fork, and not with your hands like a traditional turkey club.
So yummy and a nice twist on sandwich night using some very simple ingredients.
