Feta Stuffed Lamb Burgers
These Feta Stuffed Lamb Burgers were inspired by a recipe made by the Homesauced Team.
A father and his two kids who cook new dishes every Friday.
Let me explain…
My friend’s husband has been working from home this past year AND homeschooling the kids.
He told the kid’s that since THEY were trying something new by doing virtual learning.
That HE would do something out of his comfort zone (cooking) every Friday!
How sweet is this?!
So he and the kids cook something new together each week and one of those was a goat cheese lamb burger.
And they even topped it with Sweet Pickled Red Onions, which would be amazing on this burger as well.
How to Make Feta Stuffed Lamb Burgers
This is all you need to make both the burger patties and the sauce, which is amazing just by itself.
The sauce is made by combining half a cup of plain Greek yogurt, lemon juice, fresh dill, garlic paste, kosher salt, and pepper.
Put it all in a small bowl and stir until combined.
The burgers are made with a pound of ground lamb, feta cheese crumbles, garlic paste, balsamic vinegar, kosher salt, and pepper.
Put all that into a larger bowl and combine with your hands.
Usually I free form my burgers.
But my husband got me this amazing burger press maker.
I’m not sure I’ll ever free form them again.
Simply put 1/4 of the burger mix into each and press down to form the most perfectly rounded burger ever.

Look how even and gorgeous these are!
So…cooking choices for these burgers are the grill, on the stove in a cast iron skillet, or the Blackstone grill/griddle.
Each choice will be set to medium high and the burgers will take 4 to 6 minutes per side.
Since I’m kind of obsessed with my Blackstone griddle at the moment, I went with that option.
A little oil on the preheated griddle and then place the patties on the griddle.
A seriously gorgeous charred crust made these phenomenal!
Once cooked, place the patties on buns.
And top with the lemon dill yogurt sauce.
We kept our toppings simple with just some shredded lettuce.
I didn’t want too many other toppings.
Now it’s time to dig in and enjoy these over the top delicious Feta Stuffed Lamb Burgers!
So much flavor was in the burgers and the sauce.
And thank you, Homesauced Team, for the inspiration for these burgers!
