Garlic Parmesan Halibut and Asparagus
This easy and healthy Garlic Parmesan Halibut and Asparagus recipe did not disappoint!
We are definite seafood lovers in my family.
Our go to fish is usually salmon, but we were wanting to mix it up a bit.
The only halibut I could find was frozen, but honestly you couldn’t even tell. It was flaky, flavorful, and fabulous!
I just made sure I pat it dry before preparing it.
Here’s how to make Garlic Parmesan Halibut and Asparagus
The sauce that goes over top has only a few simple ingredients…mayo, parmesan cheese, garlic paste (or minced garlic), kosher salt, and pepper.
Mix the sauce and spread it over top of each halibut fillet.
Then top with panko bread crumbs.
For the asparagus just toss with some olive oil, more garlic paste, parmesan cheese, kosher salt, and pepper.
Then place the halibut and asparagus on a lined baking sheet.
This one pan wonder of a meal will bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes total.
It smells sooooo good too, the smell of garlic is just magical.
During the last two or three minutes turn the broiler on high to crisp up the panko topping.
You can keep it on the middle rack to prevent burning.
This feeds four easily, even though my pound of halibut was cut into three pieces.
We just divided the Garlic Parmesan Halibut and Asparagus between the four of us for dinner.
And the topic of conversation was almost ALL about how amazing this dish tasted đŸ™‚
Bonus points for easy cleanup since I lined the baking sheet and it was all made on one sheet pan.
