Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Crunchwrap
This Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Crunchwrap is my at home copycat recipe version of a classic 🙂
A Crunchwrap from Taco Bell takes me back to my teenage years.
All the fast food, all the junk food, and not a care in the world.
These days I don’t eat fast food, pretty much ever.
But I can sure make it at home 🙂
How to Make Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Crunchwrap
Ground chicken in a skillet over medium heat is the first step.
Cook the chicken for about 4 minutes with kosher and pepper, and break it apart as it cooks.
Then add in a cup of your favorite buffalo wing sauce and let it cook about 2 more minutes.
Let it cool before making your crunchwrap.
This will go a lot more smoothly if you set up your wrapping station with all the ingredients ready to go.
First cut a large tortilla into fourths, then spray a whole large tortilla and one of the fourths with olive oil cooking spray.
Next flip the tortilla over so the oiled side is down.
Put some of the cooked buffalo chicken and ranch dressing in the center.
Top with shredded lettuce and a tostada shell.
Then some shredded cheese.
So hard to see in this picture, but remember the tortilla that we cut into fourths?
Place that piece, oiled side up, right on top.
Finally fold the sides up and over the filling, folding in the sides over each other just like.
The crunchwrap will go into the air fryer basket, folded side down.
Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, depending on how crisp you want it.
I did the full 12 minutes because I wanted it extra crispy on the outside.
Cut the Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Crunchwrap in half and enjoy!
Honestly I was a little worried that the lettuce wouldn’t stay crisp, but it did and the tostada stayed crisp as well 🙂
My air fryer would only fit one at a time, but I didn’t make all four at once.
We only made two as a snack and while we devoured the first one, the second one cooked and was ready right when we were.
I just saved the rest of the ingredients so we can have two more this week…
Ahhhh, something extra tasty to look forward to!
