Honey Soy Grilled Chicken
This easy Honey Soy Grilled Chicken recipe is big on flavor, but with very little work on your part.
This simple five ingredient recipe may become one of your new favorites!
Just let the simple marinade work its magic overnight, grill the chicken a few minutes per side, and dinner is served!
How to make Honey Soy Grilled Chicken
Personally, I like using boneless, skinless chicken thighs.
They have more flavor and are actually a little less expensive than breasts.
However, thin cut chicken breasts would work just fine too.
The night before add the chicken to a gallon size plastic bag.
Using the bag is my favorite way to marinate anything.
Easy cleanup is a bonus but it also lets you massage the marinade into the chicken.
Add soy sauce, honey, garlic paste, and ginger paste to the bag.
Massage until evenly mixed and put it in the fridge overnight.
When you are ready for dinner, all you have to do is use tongs to put the chicken right on the grill over medium to medium high heat.
Grill four to five minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the chicken.

A simple and easy side dish to serve with this grilled chicken is corn on the cob and also zucchini.
Brush with some olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt and pepper and right onto the same grill.
They take between 10-12 minutes, so I like to add them a few minutes before the chicken so it’s all done at the same time.

Honey Soy Grilled Chicken
A simple and delicious marinade for this grilled chicken dish
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or thin cut breasts
- 2 Tbsps soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp garlic paste or minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp ginger paste or minced ginger
Instructions

Place the chicken in a gallon size plastic bag. Add the soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Massage the bag until evenly mixed.

Grill over medium to medium high heat 4 to 5 minutes per side, depending on thickness of chicken.
