
Smoked BBQ Pork Stuffed Jalapenos
Everything was just right with my world for a few glorious minutes as I enjoyed this recipe for Smoked BBQ Pork Stuffed Jalapenos the other day!
Oddly enough these were a last minute creation that I came up with just looking through my fridge for ideas on how to use all this leftover pulled pork from my Traeger pellet grill.
How to make Smoked BBQ Pork Stuffed Jalapenos
I had some jalapenos that I cut in half and scraped the seeds and white ribs away using a spoon.
I like to wear plastic gloves when doing this because my skin is a bit sensitive to the jalapenos.
Also make sure you are scraping the seeds away from your face and eyes.
Last weekend I made Smoked Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos with cream cheese and they were equally as delicious!

Into each jalapeno half I put a piece of sharp cheddar cheese.
Cream cheese would have been delicious as well!

Now comes the messy part, but don’t be scared.
Pile on as much pulled pork mixed with BBQ sauce as you can fit.

And then wrap with a piece of thin cut bacon!
Yes….that’s cheese, pork, AND bacon all wrapped up in an individual package just for you!
If this isn’t pure love right here I don’t know what is 😉

Brush some extra BBQ sauce over top and put these into a smoker set to 250 degrees for 2 hours.

THIS is what will await you!
Gorgeous Smoked BBQ Pork Stuffed Jalapenos!

The hardest part is having enough willpower to let them cool before digging in.
The bacon gets cooked perfectly, but not necessarily crispy.
If you wanted it more crisp, throw them on the grill for a few minutes, but for me they were perfect!

Smoked BBQ Pork Stuffed Jalapenos
A cheesy, smoky jalapeno appetizer filled with BBQ pork
Ingredients
- 6 large jalapenos
- 4 oz block sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups leftover BBQ pulled pork
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (plus more to brush over top)
- 12 slices bacon (thin cut works best)
Instructions

Cut each jalapeno in half, using a spoon scrape away the seeds and white ribs.
Note: Recommend to wear plastic gloves

Cut the block of cheese into 12 equal pieces that will fit in each jalapeno half.

Mix together the BBQ pulled pork and BBQ sauce.

Place a piece of cheese in each jalapeno half, top with the pulled pork, and wrap a piece of bacon around each stuffed jalapeno. Brush more BBQ sauce over top.

Place the jalapenos in a smoker set to 250 degrees for 2 hours.

Let cool slightly and serve.
