I am ONLY a fan of broccoli if it’s crispy. Period. Done. End of story. If it’s steamed or mushy I’m not eating it. That’s why I am SO excited about Air Fryer Lemon Parmesan Broccoli! It gets super crispy, even extra crispy around the edges of the smaller pieces, and it’s so yummy!
It’s kind of nice making sides or vegetables in the air fryer on nights when I am making our main course in the oven.
On this evening I made Buttermilk Ranch Chicken in the oven, and this broccoli was the perfect side.
How to make Air Fryer Lemon Parmesan Broccoli
I got a pound of broccoli and used kitchen scissors to cut it into florets (which is the fancy way of says small broccoli pieces).
Toss it with some olive oil, lemon juice, parmesan cheese, kosher salt, and pepper.
Into the air fryer basket it goes for 10 minutes set at 400 degrees.
Crispity crunchity broccoli goodness is what comes out. Just look at those charred edges of the smaller pieces 🙂
If I am THIS excited about broccoli you may be questioning how my life is going. It’s okay, I’m not mad. But I do promise you that you will feel my excitement too after making this wonderful side dish.
If I can get the husband and kids to willingly eat broccoli, that’s pretty amazing in my book 🙂
