Maple Mustard Salmon in Foil
If my husband is a self proclaimed chicken wing junkie, then I suppose and I am a salmon junkie. This Maple Mustard Salmon in Foil recipe is just one of the many reasons why 🙂
It’s only 4 ingredients and takes about 5 minutes to prepare.
Gotta love simple and easy dinners, especially if you’re a busy and exhausted working mom like me.
How to make Maple Mustard Salmon in Foil
The sauce is simply whisking together 100% real maple syrup, dijon mustard, and soy sauce.
Using the real maple syrup is a must!
I love Aunt Jemima, but she is not the way to go in this dish.

So this is a two pound whole side of salmon.
And this is how you prepare it…

Place a large piece of foil on a baking sheet and lay the salmon in the center, skin side down.
Form the edges of the foil around the salmon, and fold them up a bit so any sauce stays in the foil.
Then pour a few Tablespoons of the yummy maple mustard sauce over the salmon.
Spread the sauce evenly.
Sprinkle just a bit of kosher salt and pepper over the top and that’s basically all the prep work 🙂

This will bake in a 400 degree oven for 13 to 15 minutes, depending on thickness of the salmon.
Turn the broiler on high and cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
Broiling it creates a caramelizes, golden top that makes this dish extra special in my opinion.

To serve this scrumptious Maple Mustard Salmon in Foil yumminess simply cut pieces any size you would like.
The skin stays in the foil making it extra easy to serve.
Quite possibly the BEST part…no cleanup! Just throw the foil away and that’s it!
Serve the extra sauce on the side…it’s seriously addicting and delicious 🙂
Once I thought I had enough of the sauce I quickly realized I needed more.
