Traeger Honey Sriracha Salmon
Talk about a simple, easy, and basically no clean up recipe…. Traeger Honey Sriracha Salmon instantly comes to my mind.
This delicious dish has only four ingredients too!
Bonus points for most of the work being done by the Traeger pellet grill.
I got to sit and relax on the patio, smelling all the yumminess, while dinner cooked itself đŸ™‚
This is for sure not a traditional smoked salmon.
It cooks pretty quick, with just enough time to come out perfectly cooked with that wood fired grill flavor.
Here’s how to make Traeger Honey Sriracha Salmon
Place a three pound whole salmon fillet on a sheet of foil.
Then fold the edges of the foil around the salmon just like this.
Feel free to double up on the foil if preferred.
It will keep all the sauce from spilling out.
I would recommend putting this on a tray to carry it to and from the Traeger.
Then make the sweet and spicy sauce for this salmon.
Whisk together 3/4 cup honey, 1/4 cup sriracha, and two Tbsps soy sauce.
You could add more or less sriracha depending how spicy you prefer.
Save half of the sauce for dipping and brush most of the other half on the salmon.
Save a little of the brushing sauce to brush again at the end đŸ™‚
Preheat the Traeger to 400 degrees and the salmon goes right on the grate .
Use two hands to carefully get the salmon and foil in place.
This will cook on the Traeger for about 30 minutes total.
Brush the leftover sauce over top again during the last 5 minutes.
Check to make sure it’s at 145 degrees and then it’s dinnertime!
Carefully slide the foil with the salmon back onto the tray when transporting it to the dinner table.
Just look at that gorgeous Traeger Honey Sriracha Salmon!
Serve it with the honey sriracha sauce that you set aside earlier and enjoy đŸ™‚
