Air Fryer Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Mushrooms

Air Fryer Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Mushrooms

Air Fryer Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Mushrooms are a new favorite easy appetizer recipe in our house.

Stuffed mushrooms are one of my favorite appetizers to order out.

I don’t ever think to make them at home I guess, but for some reason I wanted to attempt them in the air fryer.

SO glad I did because they are incredible đŸ™‚

My son was a bit skeptical at first.

He does like mushrooms but had never had them stuffed.

He asked for seconds, third, fourths…you get the picture.

You could serve these as an appetizer or snack, or as a side dish is how we enjoyed them.

How to make Air Fryer Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Mushrooms

Start by making 6 slices of bacon in the air fryer.

They will be perfectly cooked and crispy at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

Then make the filling!

Room temperature cream cheese will make these easier to mix.

Combine the cream cheese, shredded cheese, diced jalapeno, crumbled bacon, kosher salt, and pepper in a bowl.

Mix this together until evenly combined.

I had the best luck with a metal kitchen spoon.

It does take a few minutes to come together.

Remove the stem from each baby portobello mushroom and clean up the inside a bit.

Hey…more room in the mushroom equals more yummy, cheesy filling đŸ™‚

Next up is stuffing them.

I had the best luck with using my hands.

I scooped up some of the filling and rolled it then placed in each mushroom.

All the filling fit perfectly!

Depending on your air fryer size they may need to be cooked in two batches.
